Microfiber Mop Tips
Tip for Using the Microfiber Mop System as Asked by a uClean.com Customer
I use the white mop pad to dry-dust my house as often as it needs. This seems to differ depending on the season.
To clean your hardwood floors fill a bucket with the cleaning solution of your choice (I use Murphy Oil Soap – 1 qt.), and then saturate the blue mop pad. Wring it out and attach it to the mop head. If you need to re-dip the pad to finish the job, remove it, saturate it again, and reapply to the mop head. Another option would be to have more than one blue mop pad. This way you can saturate both pads, apply one, clean, and rotate to the next one when needed. There is also a bucket that is specially made for this mop system. You can view it at this link Press Wring Bucket.
I particularly love how easy it is to clean my tile floors. Use a cleaning product of your choice (I use NABC Spartan NABC Bathroom Cleaner – 12 Qt. Bottles) that rinses easily with water. Put the cleaning solution in a spray bottle and wet the tile surface. Saturate the blue mop head with water-only, and mop up the cleaning solution. It is so quick and easy!
Both the blue and white mop heads can be washed about 500 times (no bleach or fabric softeners). They can be hung to dry or tossed in the dryer (preferably with no fabric softener).
